Hirvivaara

A beanie for a friend of mine. Riku is a musician with tattoos and such and he started studying nature, fishing and hunting.. Made this design for him.. and him only. Named it Hirvivaara (Warning: elks.. or Moose danger..?!?) because the skull has moose antlers and a warning sign behind it. This should keep his head warm but the man himself pretty cool. ;)

    Joo, ku toi kuva on vaan edessä.. ei kierrä langat "tyhjänpanttina" ympäri pipon ja kiristä sit päähän vedettäessä.

    Ei vaan käy mun järkeen et miten tapahtuu, kun yritin sitä hello kittyä, mutta siitä tuli ruma, eikä näin siistiä.
    Ajattelin et jos nyt kokeilis uudelleen kun mulla viimeistelemättömät HK:t..

    Ihan yksinkertasella langalla oon tehny. En osaa muuta neuvoo antaa näkemättä, ku ett ei parane kiristää sitä lankaa liikaa, muuten saattaa se pohjaneule irvistää sieltä alta näkyviin. Voithan sä tietty kokeilla tuplalangalla..

Pandastar

Made a blanket for a new family member. My sister gave a birth to a son in April so I made a whole package: blanket and baby clothes. The baby blue star fleece I bought from Jättirätti and the panda is ordered from Spoonflower. Didn't think about at all and I just fell in love with a couple of fabrics and ordered quite a lot of them. Paid my dues when I got info from the customs.. I had to pay a bit extra for the fabrics because of that. Next time I order every fabric separately and in smaller pieces.. One thing that I didn't get in to the pictures is a "secret" message on the blanket. To attach the fabrics to each others I sewed all sort of hearts to the blanket as well as the word "Love". The word is upside down on the left hand side when panda side up.
