Sleeping beauty

Made a sleeping mask to myself. Cotton outside and fleece inside, elastic band to hold it in place. Tested it already, works fine, still needs some product development (bigger --> better).

Too short sleeves

   So.. I've been tired and lazy and blog updates have been waiting to happen. But now I'm ready again to publish a few oldies that you might have seen in instagram already. Being pregnant and all, I was forced to buy a new jacket. The target jacket was supposed to be cheap enough, neat enough and it is supposed to fit me through the rest of my pregnancy. I found that kind of jacket over a month ago but after having it a while I came to conclusion that the sleeves on it were too short. Luckily I got an easy idea from my other wnter jacket. And so I desided to continue the sleeves with knitting. And when I was searching suitable yarn from Lankamaailma I noticed they had this reflex yarn and the idea evolved to an even better idea. Now I don't need separate reflex with that jacket since I have them knitted to my sleeves. Yay!!

Tico tico

Made some socks for Christmas gift. Yarn is Novita Tico Tico which I got from Reija. Nothing really special in these socks, quite normal instead with no gimmicks. The yarn was real nice to knit, a bit thinner than my sock yarns normally.

Pääsiäissukat

Osallistuin ystävänpäiväsukkien jälkeen myös toiseen Niina Laitisen KALiin, pääsiäissukkiin. Valitsin värit oman mielen mukaan, ajatuksena oli tehdä sukat, jotka sopii kelta-mustaan huiviin, joka mulla on. Vaan niin siinä kävi, että vaikka nämä on kuin tehty mun jalkoihin, niin nuo kuviot ei suuremmin miellytä. Luultavasti annan jollekin lahjaksi jossain kohtaa. Tuo lammas-kuvio on tavallaan söpö, mutta keltaiset lampaat olisivat muistuttaneet enempi leijonaa kuin lammasta ja nuo mustatkin lampaat muistuttavat melko lailla ankkaa ja jalkaterän puput puolestaan muistuttavat mielestäni enemmän hiirtä kuin pupua.. Lankana näissä on Viking of Norway:n Sportsragg, 3mm:n puikoilla. I knitted Easter socks designed by Niina Laitinen. They were supposed to be for myself but now I'm not so fond of them.
